Located in a tranquil spot, Rola Cottages is close to the sandy beaches of Fairbourne, Tywyn, and Barmouth, making it an ideal location for a seaside holiday. The surrounding are is perfect for walking and cycling, with fantastic routes that showcase the beauty of the Welsh countryside and for adrenaline lovers, we have excellent watersport facilities, thrilling Zip lines in the Snowdonia mountains and even Surf Snowdonia. If you need slightly gentler activities, there are nostalgic steam trains that take you on magical journeys deep into Wales and dramatic castles steeped in history, dotted up and down the coast.

At Rola Cottages, you'll have a panoramic view of the bay, stretching across to the Llyn Peninsula and Bardsey Island. The location is perfect for nature lovers, as we often see dolphins and the odd basking shark, as well as cormorants, oyster catchers, red kites, and the occasional peregrine falcon. The Cambrian railway runs in front of the houses, and a sleepy two-carriage train trundles past approximately 5 or 6 times a day, adding to the charm of the location.
